- Try Dive
Minimum Age: 8 Years
A "Pool" Only course, lasting approximately 2 hours. This 'Give It a Go' course is ideal for all the family, and consists of professional instruction on the basics of diving with plenty of time to experience scuba diving in the comfort and safety of a swimming pool, or swimming pool like environment.
Includes underwater games for the 'kids' with our sub-aqua torpedo.
- Discover Scuba Diving
Minimum Age: 10 Years
A one day course consisting of: very basic academics, pool or 'confined' open water training session, and a guided open water dive. Course includes official Discover Scuba Diver Card and Participation Certificate.
The Discover Scuba Diving course is the ideal course to experience the wonders of the underwater world for the first time. No experience is required, and this extremely popular one day course truly is an amazing experience for all ages. Instruction and a brief training session are given.
Minimum Age: 10 Years
The Scuba Diver course is an ideal course for holidaymakers with a limited amount of time to spare.
Consisting of academic training, pool training and two open water dives, this certification course can be completed in as little as two days, and on completion qualifies the successful student to dive to a maximum depth of twelve metres (40 feet) under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.
Minimum Age: 10 Years
This is the first 'major' certification course. The successful student, on completion, is qualified to dive (with a buddy) to a maximum depth of 18 metres (60 feet) with or without the supervision of a PADI Professional anywhere in the world.*
This certification also enables you to hire scuba equipment and cylinders from dive centres around the world.
The course consists of academic training; pool training and 4 open water training dives.
Don't worry though, it's not all work. This course really is a lot of fun!
* Junior Open Water Divers (10-14) are restricted to a maximum depth of 12 metres (40 feet) and are required to dive under supervision of a PADI Professional.
Minimum Age: 12 Years
This course consists of 5 open water dives, 2 compulsory deep, and navigation, plus 3 dives of your choice. The 3 remaining dives can be selected from a wide range of different specific dives.
A great opportunity to improve on your existing diving skills, and gain valuable extra knowledge and experience. On completion of this course the successful student will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres (100 feet). Junior Advanced Open Water Divers are qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 21 metres (70 feet).
- Rescue Diver
Minimum Age: 12 Years
An excellent course, truly broadening your horizons, and your abilities.
This is where you become a 'Thinking Diver', and start to take stock of the 'Big Picture'. On this course you'll be trained to be more aware of your surrounding environment and other divers. You'll be trained in Search and Rescue Techniques, Assisting Divers in Distress, Locating Missing Divers, and a host of other interesting and useful skills. The PADI Rescue course is extremely enjoyable and includes a number of scenarios to make the training as 'lifelike' as possible.
A non- diving based First Aid and CPR course. This course is classroom based and is a pre-requisite for advancing to the PADI rescue diver course.*
* Proof of an alternate 1st Aid / CPR qualification is acceptable.
- Divemaster
Minimum Age: 18 Years
This is for the more dedicated divers amongst us, and is the first professional level in diving.
If you're looking for a career in diving, it all starts here. Or perhaps you just want the extra qualification should you be considering 'helping out' at your local Dive Centre from time to time? Either way the PADI Divemaster Course will really 'open your eyes'. This course will qualify you to Professional Diver Status.
As a PADI Divemaster, amongst other things, you will be able to assist Instructors with training student divers and supervise diving activities for certified divers. |
